Yoga is a practice of mindfulness and self-inquiry. Each yoga pose teaches you how to be present and in tune with the rhythm of our breath. The mindful practice of yoga reconnects us with a vast space within us, we learn to accept things as they are and simply be in the moment.

During this special workshop we will be using different Yoga poses to strengthen and open up the body, breathing exercises and meditation. Between the physical poses we will rest in shavasana to experience the purifying effect of yoga practice.

Loving-kindness meditation is a practice of reconnecting to our natural state of happiness by tenderly cultivating friendship with ourselves and others. We use the art of visualization, contemplation, and silently repeating wishes of well-being, to awaken unconditional friendship toward yourself and other beings. The practice is simple yet profound, and easy to use in every day life when needed.

Restorative yoga stimulates your rest-and-digest response—the opposite of the highly-stressed, fight-or-flight state in which you likely spend too much time—slows your heart rate and breath, and inspires a feeling of deep relaxation.
