Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. Mindfulness meditation and Mindful Yoga asks us to suspend judgment and allow things to be as they are , approaching our experience with warmth and kindness, to ourselves and others.

During this workshop you will experience very simple guided meditations and learn to integrate them with a Mindful Yoga practice.

  The practice will consitst of a few short Yoga sequences , after each sequence you will rest on the mat in Shavasana to experience the effect of the subtle practice . The purpose of the  sequencing is to develop better awareness of the body and mind and experience the wholeness of your true nature : completely open, compassionate and always loving.

 

This workshop is open to all levels. Beginners are welcome.

 

This workshop includes:

- Samatha Meditation - Vipasana Meditation-- Sun Salutations -- Asana practice -  Shavasana /Relaxation

You will receive:

- 24 minutes Mindful Yoga Sequence

Yin Yoga, originally known as Daoist yoga, is a quiet, introspective, passive yoga practice where the supine and sited poses are held for longer time. Every Yin pose is affecting the fascia, organs and stimulates the flow of Chi (Life Force) through the meridians, resulting in increased energy. This is slow meditative practice – giving us the opportunity to create more head space and be present in the moment. The workshop will focus on balancing the spleen and stomach meridian, getting the energy moving through these lines to help you feel more calm, open and caring and grounding poses to help you feel centered and deeply connected to the Earth.

 

This workshops is open to all levels, and it is designed to relax  and calm .

This "Introduction to Yin Yoga" workshop is tailored specifically to introduce total beginners to the practice. A yin practice is the ultimate reset button for you body, mind and soul. Yin yoga is for you if you are worn out and crave energy, or if you feel overstimulated and need some time to just relax, while still reaping the physical benefits from targeting the ligaments, joints, deep fascia and even the bones. Imagine 2 delicious hours with bolsters and blankets, candles, warmth and relaxation and a luxurious savasana with essential oils, all designed to help the body and mind release and let go.

Shadow yoga provides a firm foundation and clear path to cultivating a safe and effective yoga practice. The first step is to strengthen the musculoskeletal system, develop joint mobility and improve coordination of body, limbs and breath in preparation for the three Prelude Forms.

 

This workshop will introduce the fundamental structure of a Shadow-style practice. It is suitable for all levels, from  beginners to those with some experience of yoga who wish to learn more about Shadow-style yoga.uality of sleep, and gives us more energy to enjoy life.
