Since World Mental Health Day takes place in October, there's no better time to spend an afternoon learning and experiencing strategies from both nutrition and yoga that can be used to encourage a calmer life. We all need to be kind to our minds, and just like with our bodies, constant maintenance is required to relieve stress, let go of day to day happenings, and come back to our true selves.

 

3 - 4pm Learn the fundamentals of how nutrition, food and mindset can encourage a calmer life.

4 - 5pm Experience an hour of relaxed yin yoga to declutter the mind and body.

 

 

 

In this workshop, flow between stillness and movement with yoga and guided meditation.

Slow down and be present in the pratice , learn how to nourish the whole being with a simple , meditative Yoga practice.

 

The intention of this workshop is to re-connect with our true nature and the wholeness that already resides in us.

A healing evening of loving kindness meditation, restorative yoga and guided relaxation.

 

The quietness of restorative yoga helps to elicit the relaxation response and your body's self-healing process.

 

Restorative yoga is the ultimate in SELF LOVE. It shifts you out of your stress response into the relaxation response to help you deeply rest and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

 

Restorative oses are held for up to ten minutes , allowing you to focus on your heart entre, embracing each moment of stillness, by tracing the steady rhythm of your breath and enjoying the pleasure of simply being.

Yin Yoga, originally known as Daoist yoga, is a quiet, introspective, passive yoga practice where the supine and sited poses are held for longer time. Every Yin pose is affecting the fascia, organs and stimulates the flow of Chi (Life Force) through the meridians, resulting in increased energy. This is slow meditative practice – giving us the opportunity to create more head space and be present in the moment. The workshop will focus on balancing the Lung  & Heart meridian, getting the energy moving through these lines to help you to calm the mind and open the heart.
